1. Before purchasing
Review the plan duration, currency, price and included features before payment. Unless the checkout page clearly states otherwise, subscriptions are one-time purchases and do not renew automatically.
A plan gives immediate access to digital practice and learning services after successful activation.
2. How to request a refund
Email support@maxpte.com from the address registered to your account. Include your order or transaction reference, purchase date, payment method and a clear reason for the request.
Submit the request as soon as possible and preferably within 14 calendar days of purchase. A request does not guarantee approval, but mandatory consumer rights applicable in your location always remain available.
3. Cases normally eligible for correction or refund
- The same order was charged more than once.
- Payment succeeded but the purchased subscription was not activated and support could not activate it within a reasonable time.
- A verified MaxPTE technical failure prevented material use of the paid service and could not be resolved or reasonably extended.
- The transaction was unauthorized and verified through the relevant payment process.
- A refund is required by applicable consumer law.
4. Cases normally not refundable
We may still provide a fair remedy such as additional access time, plan correction or a partial refund when that better matches the verified problem.
- A substantial part of the plan has already been used, including completed premium practice, AI-scored submissions, mock tests or paid Learning Lab activity.
- The request is based only on dissatisfaction with a predicted score or failure to achieve a desired official exam result.
- The account was suspended for fraud, payment abuse, account sharing or a serious breach of the Terms of Use.
- The user purchased the wrong plan but continued to use its premium features after becoming aware of the mistake.
- A third-party fee, exchange-rate difference or blockchain network fee was not received by MaxPTE and cannot be recovered.
5. Digital content and immediate access
Because subscriptions provide digital access immediately, use of premium content can affect refund eligibility. Where local law requires special consent or provides a cooling-off right for digital services, that law takes priority over this policy.
6. Payment failures and pending transactions
A pending or failed payment does not create a paid subscription. If money appears to have been deducted, first allow the payment provider’s normal reconciliation period. Send the provider reference to support if the status does not correct automatically.
Do not repeat the payment multiple times while the first transaction is pending unless support or the payment provider confirms it failed.
7. Refund method and timing
Approved refunds are normally initiated within five business days after verification. Banks, gateways and blockchain providers may require additional processing time.
Where technically possible, a refund is returned through the original payment method. Identity, account ownership and transaction details may need to be verified. Provider or network fees may be deducted only where permitted and clearly applicable.
8. Chargebacks and disputes
Contact MaxPTE support before starting a bank or gateway dispute so we can investigate activation, duplication or technical failure. Fraudulent or abusive chargebacks may lead to account restriction and recovery of resulting costs where lawful.
9. Plan cancellation
A one-time plan ends automatically at the end of its access period and does not require cancellation. If recurring billing is introduced in the future, it will be clearly disclosed before purchase together with a cancellation method.
