Terms of Use

1. Agreement and eligibility

By creating an account, purchasing a subscription or using MaxPTE, you agree to these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

You must be legally able to enter into this agreement. If you are under the legal age in your country, a parent or legal guardian must review and accept these terms for you.

2. Independent preparation platform

MaxPTE is an independent exam-preparation platform. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or officially associated with Pearson, PTE Academic or any Pearson company.

Practice questions, predicted scores and learning recommendations are preparation tools only. They are not official PTE questions, score reports or guarantees of an exam result.

3. Accounts and security

• Provide accurate registration information and keep it current.
• Keep your password and sign-in methods secure and do not share an account.
• Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.
• You are responsible for activity carried out through your account unless caused by a MaxPTE security failure.

4. Subscriptions and access

Plan duration, price, included features and any usage limits are shown before payment. Paid access begins when the payment is confirmed and the subscription is activated.

Unless a checkout page clearly says otherwise, MaxPTE subscriptions are one-time purchases and do not renew automatically. Internal service credits may be used to operate features but do not represent money and cannot be transferred or redeemed for cash.

5. AI scoring and learning recommendations

Some speaking and writing features use automated systems to analyse responses. Scores and feedback are estimates designed for practice and may differ from official PTE scoring.

Automated feedback can contain errors. Learners should use it together with the task instructions, their own judgement and qualified teaching support where appropriate.

6. Acceptable use

• Do not copy, scrape, resell, publish or systematically extract questions, answers, audio, feedback or platform data.
• Do not bypass access controls, usage limits, subscriptions or technical safeguards.
• Do not upload unlawful, harmful, infringing or malicious content.
• Do not use automated tools in a way that disrupts the service or other learners.
• Do not impersonate another person or use payment methods without authorization.

7. Content and intellectual property

MaxPTE and its licensors retain all rights in the platform, interface, software, learning materials and original content. Your subscription gives you a limited, personal, non-transferable right to use the service for learning.

You retain ownership of responses you submit. You grant MaxPTE the limited permission needed to store, process and analyse those responses to provide scoring, feedback, security and learning features.

8. Service availability and changes

We work to keep MaxPTE available and accurate, but uninterrupted or error-free service cannot be guaranteed. Maintenance, provider outages, security events or circumstances outside our control may affect availability.

We may improve, replace or discontinue features when reasonably necessary. Material changes affecting a paid plan will be communicated where practical.

9. Suspension and termination

We may restrict or suspend access for fraud, chargebacks, account sharing, security risks, unlawful activity or serious violations of these terms. Where appropriate, we will provide notice and an opportunity to contact support.

You may stop using MaxPTE at any time. Refund requests are handled under the Refund & Cancellation Policy and applicable consumer law.

10. Liability and applicable rights

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MaxPTE is not responsible for indirect losses, missed exam targets, booking decisions or outcomes based solely on predicted scores.

Nothing in these terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded under the law applicable to you.

11. Changes and contact

We may update these terms to reflect product, legal or security changes. The updated date will appear at the top of this page. Material changes may also be communicated in the product or by email.
